9:00 a.m. Gulf Coast Bird Observatory - Almost 300 species of Migratory Birds depend on coastal habitat as they travel between the U.S. and Latin America twice a year.
The GCBO welcomes the avid birder to visit and learn of their research and educational center. The Xtreme Hummingbird Xtravangaza is held annually in September.

The longest running community theater on the Texas Gulf Coast offers five major productions each season. Planetarium shows featuring reclined seats under a domed ceiling and a Spitz star projector.
