9:15 am                 Arrive at the Old Jail Museum-Chamber Visitor Center, tour 1887 structure. (Restrooms available)

 

10:15 - 11:15        Tour Gonzales Pioneer Village Living History Center restored 19th century homes and buildings. Fee $3.50

 

11:30 - 12:45        Enjoy lunch at one of the eateries in town, $6/up.

 

1 - 2:30 pm           Meet step-on guide at Old Jail House Museum for a driving tour of Gonzales. Includes the 1885 Old Gonzales College, Episcopal Church of the Messiah 1881, among the 84 other historic buildings and homes.

 

2:45 - 3:30             Tour Gonzales Memorial Museum erected by the State of Texas in 1936. The museum is dedicated to the memory of the "Immortal 32" who rode from Gonzales to fight and die at the Alamo and displays the "Come and Take It" cannon.

                                Tour one of the turn-of-the-century homes with hand-painted murals, magnificent staircases, intricate woodwork and elegant furnishings.
